Shabbat 100.
Once a year we pack the room with a hundred-plus Jewish students for one unforgettable Friday night. It's the biggest Jewish night on campus, and it's a blast.
Follow @chabadatunlv for this year's date.
Before you come over.
Do I need to be religious?
Not at all. Students from every background come for Shabbat: Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, secular and somewhere in between. You don't need to know any Hebrew or any of the prayers.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. Some people dress up a little for Shabbat, plenty don't.
Is the food kosher?
Yes. Everything is cooked in the Chabad House's kosher kitchen.
Can I bring a friend?
Please do. Just let us know how many are coming when you text SHABBAT.
I'm running late. Should I still come?
Yes. Come whenever you can. There's always a seat and always food.
Where is it?
At the Chabad House, a few minutes from campus. Text 725-444-7110 and we'll send you directions.
See you Friday night.
Text SHABBAT to 725-444-7110 to RSVP. It takes five seconds.
